The Endeavour, a replica of the ship sailed by Captain Cook, visited the Maritime Museum October 1999

Activity: We spent a rainy Sunday July afternoon at the Vancouver Maritime Museum.  What a nice place for both adults and children.  I enjoyed wandering through the RCMP Arctic schooner St. Roch imagining being trapped by ice in the Northwest Passage.  Nathan loved the Shipwreck! display of ancient and modern shipwrecks.  Jen loved the underwater robot and the computer games.  Mom said she enjoyed it more than Science World

Age group: three years and up.

Expense rating: moderate, $14 for a family of four, pay parking

: Great restoration of the vessel St. Roch, informative, educational and fun.  Great rainy day activity.
