Last year I studied First Nations culture and history in Social Studies
9. To be honest with you, I forgot most of what I learned.
I should tell my teacher about Takaya Tours. You get to paddle up
Indian Arm in a canoe like the one Native Indians used hundreds of years
ago. Along the way a member of the Tsleil-Waututh Nation of North
Vancouver will tell you about the Native way of life and their legends,
show where the actual village sites are located, and maybe even play some
traditional Native songs. How cool is that?
